Si mal no recuerdo los chicos que fundaron esc-studios estuvieron trabajando en manex studios, en manex fueron los encargados de desarrollar secuencias CGI dentro de la primer película de The matrix, John Gaeta era uno de los que trabajo ahí desarrollando la tecnología que el llamo bullet time que impresiono a todos cuando Keanu Revees esquiva las balas en un shot parecido a un super slow motion, como olvidarlo, bueno para no haceles el cuento largo los chicos de ahi no les pagaron como bien ( o por lo menos eso se rumora) por eso se largaron y pusieron su estudio justo enfrente de manes, de ahi su nombre de esc (como la tecla esc de cualquier teclado) ahora son conocidos como escape studios

hoy por hoy escape studios ofrecen servicios de animacion vfx, asi como entrenamiento certificado en renderman y otros softwares de animacion (maya y 3d studio max ect)

Anyone near the Southbank on the evening of March 27 would have noticed something special going on at Tate Modern as Lord Puttnam hosted the Escape Awards 2008 in partnership with Autodesk and AMD.
Key players from some of the biggest companies in Visual Effects, Games and Design Visualisation were on hand to rub shoulders, enjoy a few cocktails and admire the stunning view.
However, there was also some serious business to be done as everybody was eager to hear who would take the top spots across the 8 award categories.
Just a glimpse at the list of nominees would tell you that the judges had a rather tough time making their decisions and nobody could’ve predicted who’d be taking home the award circuit’s newest and arguably most stylish trophy.
Congratulations go to all the winners and a big thank you to all those who entered, judged, sponsored and supported the event. We hope you'd agree that for a fledgling Awards last night's success bodes rather well for the future. We can’t wait to see how next year’s event takes shape.
